If following my Instagram stories you might have noticed a new, fit friend of mine – Filipa, who is Portuguese and which I met at my gym trial my second day in London. ( Yes, I went to find a gym, right after arriving and free trial is always the best thing to do if you are new at some place and wish to squeeze in that workout.)
As everything I do also this simple thing turned into an adventure, because the regular things does not happen to me, there is ALWAYS some story involved. I made a new friend at my gym trial day – Filipa with who we become instant friends as we are very similar souls with same interests and same view to the life. Since them we have been working out and hanging out together – just hunting good vibes – our adventures on Fit Vibe Hunters Instagram. For what makes this more amusing – her boyfriend is Latvian. How about that for a coincidence? Read More
Last week Adidas Runners Milan organized another great event – this time just for ladies presenting the new UltraBOOST X runners shoes designer for ladies! And what’s the best way to experience the shoe? Of course to go for a run! And so we did.
Turned out that was one of the lucky ones that had a chance to bring these babies for a run! And must say it was great! So comfy! was slightly looking sceptical to them but after trying on I really can say that you can feel the difference on the feet when running – fits perfectly hugging your ankle therefore giving a great support. At least my impression.
But apart trying on a new shoe had a great Milan evening run and a little bit of working out with Adidas Runners girls.
Here is how it went.
I have already shared couple of times my fitness power bars recipe with you guys but here is a slightly modified and updated version of the old muesli/ granola bars recipe. They say – third is a charm, right?
Made it to treat the family, friends and colleagues as made it way too many. But as a finger-lickin good ones – they were gone in a heartbeat! so tested, proven and approved even by picky eaters! (That’s why excuse the lack of the pictures – couldn’t fight off all the eaters!)
The good side making homemade power bars is to have them by your reach whenever sugar cravings crash. Easy to pack them away for your office snack or enjoy it post workout to renew that energy reserves after a hard training, or simply have a healthy kick-start of the day, whenever you choose – it will make you satisfied! Have you ever wonder how does that alternative, vegetarian pizza base tastes but was kind a scared to try yourself? Well don’t worry! I experimented on myself! Must tell you – tastes absolutely great! and would never even tell that it is made from cauliflower.
I decided to give a try to this alternative pizza as a) cannot eat any bread products nor any yeast products so pizza is out of a question. (Living in Italy does not help you to resist the temptation). So I decided to give a try to this vegetarian pizza base myself.
All you need is 1 cauliflower, 100g almonds, an egg, some 100 g cheese, food processor and some patience. The last one you will need a lot.
Fall is asking for not only season garderobe change but also for local veggies and fruit season change. Even though apples are all year around fall has the best time to enjoy fresh and juicy apple just from the tree (or local farmer’s market) full with those vitamins and antioxidants, or in a different recipes – like baked apples.
I love apples in all forms and in all recipes and therefore experimenting with them always. Baked apple recipe is my latest obsession: fast, easy, healthy and delicious.
My latest recipe inspiration comes from Katie at Some Bits and Bobs blog. I went for adopting her Vegan Gluten-free nut crumble served in apple recipe and this is what I came up for – a healthy and easy baked apple dessert that’s perfect for breakfast or as a fit snack. Read More

As been facing them all than I am pretty confident that know answers and how to trick the body get over the obstacle and stay focused and keep striving for progress.
We all know what is good for you and what should you be eating but sometimes, when the temptations are on every corner, (yes you, delicious Italian gelato vendors, I refer to you) we forget about and just gave in to our cravings. As I am not in position to gave in to any temptations ( getting married and still under super-strict eating regimen) than I am here to share you some good tips for a healthy and balanced diet that might help you when you are doing your grocery shopping for the week.
Here are some tips approved by Women’s Health Nutritionist Eve Kalinik and me backing up the theory what should you eat for a healthy diet and weight loss.
Fiber is definitely not the sexiest substance on the planet but definitely useful one as the research shows that it definitely key on fighting to lose fat if consumed average 30g daily* however average European eats just 18g. The reason behind is that fiber keeps you satisfied and fuller with fewer calories for longer therefore preventing hunger cravings.
It does not mean you have to go crazy scanning all the product labels next time you are grocery shopping, all right? Simple upgrade to your daily meals is enough and here is my top 10 to improve your fiber intake easily.
So just spice up your meals with shredded coconut, some chia seeds in your morning porridge or cocoa powder, some mushrooms in your scrambled eggs or popcorn in your midday snack and you will be feeling more satisfied and full that will eventually translate in eating less and therefore weight loss! Basically win-win situation!
