Hello World and welcome to my blog!

My name is Egita and this is my public diary, confession  and goal setting place. A place that keeps a track, inspires, motivates and shares my everyday life, dreams, workout tips (yes, I am really fit but not as fit as I want to be), goals (as this will be also my fitness goal tracker), my healthy recipes (as I love cooking and experimenting because who said that healthy eating cannot be easy and delicious? ) and travels ( I consider myself a wanderer and explorer who prefers to have a local experience wherever I go). Travel
During my business trips it’s hard to get to know the place you are going to, so I always try to make best out of the both, combining work and private life squeezing in some picture,note or reference about the country and people, mixing together with my personal impressions, feelings and discoveries.

This time was Munich. The mother of beer gardens, beer fests and class.
This is my impression of capital of Bavaria.
So here are some pictures caught on running from one meeting to another and from hotel to dinner without a map.
I stayed in this small but fashionable boutique hotel Falkentrum . It is right behind the main shopping street – Maximilianstrasse, where you will find all the big brands : Guchi, Dior, Chanel, Rolex, etc.etc.
Inspiration
It’s remained 20 days till my beach adventure at the south of Italy and can’t wait to knock off heels and feel the sand under my feet! So doing my best to get in best possible shape-  it’s my second week of infused water and detox cure (and i must say it is working!!! ) also now going everywhere with my bicycle and try to walk and move as much as possible and cutting back on those friendly Milanese aperetivos and socializing eating/drinking instead inviting people over to my place/ their place for homemade, healthy brunch, (check some healthy and delicious recipe ideas here) picnic/dinner or after dinner tea. good for your health as well as your pocket!
Workout
My life has been always accompanied with a music – whatever I do there must be a song describing the moment/action I am living to get inspired/motivated or just to get me going. For me it applies to all fields of life, there just must be a playlist for a road trip across Brazil, baking healthy power bars, or on the plane while doing a research for my projects.

The same thing for working out, I just can’t imagine lifting weights, running, stretching, etc,etc. without a motivational music in my music player (I mostly use my Nokia phone as it has really nice music options and sound and huge storage to have possibility to flip through all my songs to find a perfect ones).

Travel
At least 4 times I year I go for work to Stockholm and during my trips I have observed and learned some tricks and tips that must be obeyed once you are there! so why not share them with you?

Usually i do not have time for long strolls from one island to other ( however must say it is wonderful, especially in July), but I do have picked up some nice things from Swedes, like afternoon tea time – coffee brake – FIKA (pronounced fee-ka) usually it has been accompanied with a cinnamon sweet. my preferred is always cinnamon roll or bun. (It’s pretty easy to make and will post a recipe  ASAP). Cinnamon is my winter’s BFF. Sweds like to pop in a nice Cupcake and Bakeries to enjoy it properly. So did I.
Fit food & Drinks
Hello in August everyone !   The month of vacations, beach,sun, fun and parties. however, we shouldn’t forget also about eating right and having a physical activities.. I know, I know, gyms are closed and heat is sucking the last will out of us to do any sporty activities, but still! let’s try to focus here and try to stay in shape, so when September arrives we do not have to kill ourselves in hard work-out routines in gym or starve.
Inspiration
This morning I woke up at 6 to restart going to run before going to work.
must say I felt a lot better – more toned and energetic rather than waking up later and just rolling out of bed and do nothing, but breakfast.
The inspiration to keep on running came today also from friend of mine, which I must share with you..
