Travel, Workout

New Year, but the habits stays the same – staying fit even on the road. Also my trip to Dubai, was not an exception and managed to squeeze in workout even on my heavily packed meeting schedule. Luckily for me, in Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers hotel I was staying was a quite good for a hotel gym to perform a proper workout.

The gym itself was quite spacious divided in 3 sections: free weights, cardio machines facing windows, therefore also for early birds like me, could catch sunrise and functional zone. Read More

June has been one crazy month with non stop travelling. Managed to visit Florence, Genoa, Nervi (in Italy), Lisbon, Porto, Ericeira and everything in between along the coast for pleasure, for pleasure but Berlin, Duisburg, Dusseldorf, and on top of that – Las Vegas for work. In short – I spent rushing from one place to another and trying to squeeze in all the works and duties, wedding organization and everyday tasks. And of course not forgetting about gym as well.

When traveling for work I always try to find a hotel with gym in it, but if not possible – going for a run in a nearest park if weather allows or workout at my room.

This time I was lucky as had been staying in this wonderful Vdara hotel and Spa at Las Vegas that had a great gym facilities. Here are some insight from my 6 am gym session. (Must say that noticed that gyms in Vegas are fuller at 6 am than at 10 am, guess jet lag and dedication is playing a big role there as well). Read More

Travel, Workout

If been following my adventures than already know that last week were in Tel Aviv for work and as were there for 4 days than I had to adjust my workout schedule to the travel one doing my workouts on the road. Luckily form me in my hotel (Carlton – which, BTW, is A-mazing!) had also gym facilities so put my mind on peace and packed my workout equipment before hitting the road.

As a determined lady who never skips leg day, I woke up along with the sunrise and to hit the gym. Not because I would be an early bird, but because when I am on the road there is just no way to find a time for an evening workout so prefer to rise with the birds to have one.

Isn’t the view lovely? This view is definitely worth the early wake up despite the hard time getting out of the bed. Read More

Me & My Beau, Travel, Workout

The best thing that always get be on track and helps to overcome a jet lag is a training. A good weight or a cardio  training the day after arriving to help to adjust to the new rhythm and time zone. As all last week I spent Tokyo and had a pretty hectic and busy meeting schedule that having a training was the best thing. Luckily for me I found a wonderful fitness center – NAS Sports club  – fully equipped gym in the same building as my hotel in Osaki, Tokyo.

As this was a real gym than could easily stick to my training routine during my stay which made me truly happy especially as been on my strict training and dieting regime since beginning of the year.

The gym is spacious, offers all the types of regular weight machines as well as free weights for an efficient weight training. (had a killer leg day that were sore for next 2 days).  Read More

Workout

We all know that hotel gym’s usually does not really offer much possibilities for an efficient workout and that could substitute a proper gym, usually offering just a treadmill, a mat and maybe a bike and couple of weights if you are lucky, so you have to be pretty creative to get a proper workout done. Luckily for me, Novotel West Hammersmith London had more to offer and made my staying last week there way easier.

The gym itself is not big but offers quite a space and some basic machines: like treadmill, elliptical, rowing and bicycles and in addition multi function weight training machine, fitness ball, step, bench, mats, and dumbbells. Basically basic things to ensure you a good training.  Read More
