Gym review: Exploring NAS Gym and fitness center in Tokyo

The best thing that always get be on track and helps to overcome a jet lag is a training. A good weight or a cardio  training the day after arriving to help to adjust to the new rhythm and time zone. As all last week I spent Tokyo and had a pretty hectic and busy meeting schedule that having a training was the best thing. Luckily for me I found a wonderful fitness center – NAS Sports club  – fully equipped gym in the same building as my hotel in Osaki, Tokyo.

As this was a real gym than could easily stick to my training routine during my stay which made me truly happy especially as been on my strict training and dieting regime since beginning of the year.

The gym is spacious, offers all the types of regular weight machines as well as free weights for an efficient weight training. (had a killer leg day that were sore for next 2 days).

Even on busiest hours you can find yourself a free machine.

For me a nice touch was that hotel was giving me a discount as collaborating with the sports center.

Always remember to ask your hotel if they have some convention with some gym near as you might get a special discount.

I got a 15% discount the daily price.

And about the gym itself- it gave you also the towels along with a locker key, and also they had a shop so you could buy everything you need for your training if forgot your workout clothes/bikini at home.

The whole sports center was really well made and neatly organized dividing stretching areas, studios and machines from one another flawlessly.

You even could practice your golf swing if feel like it in a dedicated room.

Of course after every good training a proper stretching session is more than necessary.

Of course than there was also sauna, bathtubs, Jacuzzi and swimming pool as well as beauty saloon.

Doesn’t it look perfect after a long flight to relax and recharge your batteries?

What made my impression was also the women’s locker rooms and powder/dressing rooms. Getting ready with a style.

I can definitely say that this is one of the nicest locker rooms in a gym I have ever seen, don’t you think?

..and for the full happiness there is even a body treatments offered by the fitness center, pity that couldn’t enjoy myself, but definitely will next time in Tokyo.

Despite my attempts of trying to stay in shape I must admit that traveling, hectic and busy work schedule and big time zone difference definitely messes up a training and dieting schedule. For me last week has been extra hard to stick with diet as were not able to eat at my times, 9h time zone difference truly messed up my sleeping hours and eating habits  as well as late night dinner and not being able to get my “diet food” did make a bad impact to my progress, or let-s better call it – regress that makes me pretty upset this Monday. However the same time I am truly motivated to get going and February make double effort to fix it up.

Week 6,

weight+ 0,5 kg

Mood : inspired and upset
