Inspiration

For many of us work week starts on Monday and the same for a workout, a new workout program, a new diet, etc. Everything in the end starts on Mondays. Which is cool for many people and used by 99% I know, but getting older (5 days to go-O.M.G.) I have realized that I don’t want my workout week to start on Monday. It just doesn’t work for me.

Why I don’t want to start on Monday anymore? Because it’s too much to handle and sometimes too long to wait that meanwhile you just find some excuses to be lazy, eat bad or postpone starting all that good fitness and training objectives that really could make a difference, so when monday arrives you already start with a guilt of missed/not done exercises, skipped diet/clean eating and being overall lazy – to sum up – you start with minuses and probably you are also less motivated. Yet another Sunny Sunday spent in a park training with some seriously cool ladies.  When the weather is still so warm and leaves are golden it’s just a pity to stay in and not enjoy the fresh fall air.

This time I applied Josh Caruthers training program designed for Nike for total body endurance,  core and increase metabolism to get them going and shred some fat (burned aprx. 400 kcal – not bad, eh?). (Last time we went for a circuit training, so this time wanted to spice things up).

This is what we did!  Read More

If you have ever tried circuit training you know how effective it is! (Yes, leaves you breathless and makes you wanna collapse on the floor, but, oh, boy, how it works wonders on those booty shaping and fat shredding and makes you sweat).

Last Sunday I had a pleasure to be in couch position and make some blonde ladies to try out this fun circuit training together in one of sunniest Milan’s parks -Parco Solari.

The workout was aimed for all body parts and for some deep fat shredding. (Which is never bad,am I right?).

So here is the circuit to try for yourself – promise, it will burn and make you feel those sore muscles day after! And best part – you don’t need any equipment, just a mat. Read More

Travel, Workout

” Surfing is a physically demanding sport. You need to be strong, flexible and have excellent endurance. The fitter you are, the longer you’ll be able to surf for. The faster you can paddle, the more waves you’ll get”. This quote by Surfingsite truly sums up the necessity of being in a good physical shape to try out your first surfing experience.

And I can definitely second this statement for being in a pretty good physical shape myself, but still here are some of my suggestions what helped me to get the best out of my first surfing lesson in Portugal last week. Read More

To become better than the person you were yesterday you should constantly learn, practice and improve. The same is for the workout – in order to get better results you should constantly improve your technique, increase weight and practice. To keep things interesting you should always switch between routines and incorporate some new exercises and challenges in your workout plan.

This is practice that I have been always following to keep things interested and body constantly wondering in order to improve. The things I like to do is to throw to myself a challenge –  like trying out some new workout routine by some trainer, like Victoria’s Secret Angel trainer Dan.
This time I tried out Nike Master trainer’s Sonja Moses workout routine and I must say it was not as easy as I was imagining it. Definitely felt the burn next day and sour muscles ( especially butt) so it means just one thing / definitely working! So try it out for yourself if don’t believe me!

Inspiration, Me & My Beau

I believe that the last years the pace of life has definitely picked up leaving less and less time for our friends, family and especially for ourselves. This hectic lifestyle, when you try to manage everything: stay on diet, lose weight, increase muscles, sleep, travel, meet friends, relax, read a book (gosh, don’t remember last time when started and actually finished the whole book less than in 6 months), build your career and invest in your future, etc. Everything is sooo much that you just cannot manage everything or just living on the run and have to say “no” to things just to manage to get through the day.

For me it has been especially hard last month as been traveling every week, working not human hours and have no time free for nothing and no one, not even myself to stick to my diet and workout program I started as my new year’s resolution. And men it is so frustrating as I supposed to be arrived at a point I could show off my progress, but no, instead I am lacking sleep, taking 7am flights every week and working till midnight + skipping gym. To sum up – no good progress so far that makes me completely frustrated and upset and sad, however this feeling are not going to change nor improve the current situation so just need to make a choice how I wish to proceed: feel sorry for myself and drop everything or just pick it up and keep going!?(..what it will be, giiiirl? ) Read More

People who knows me would call me a gym bunny and healthy lifestyle lover and I guess that’s true (guess trying to write a fitness dedicated blog makes this statement legit) and guess that’s why the reason sometimes girls reach out with some workout advice or their fitness updates they wish to share with me. (Which I love, BTW. I am always happy to help. Let’s call this my mission – help people to create the best version of themselves and help as much as I can from my best knowledge – so feel free drop me a line).

Couple of days ago a friend of mine shared her idea to try 30 day squat challenge..and I couldn’t help but frown hearing it. Sure I was glad to hear that she wishes to have a fitness challenge and improve her physical aspect but this was just not the right medicine to work miracles as many people believes. And it’s not their fault, it’s media, fake profiles promoting results after their 30 day challenges, before and after pictures, that are actually found on internet and “borrowed” from real people or just plainly photoshopped. All these things gives us impression that after a 30 day challenge, not only squat challenge, we will have this amazing body: lifted and round booty, perfect beach body or super toned arms.

Of course it’s wonderful to believe and trust me – I have been there, believing that a challenges and a short term workouts found on women’s magazines would give me my dream body, but unfortunately been deluded way too many times, as I believe, rest of us, when thinking about the result and being inspired from a star/unreal people social media profiles and magazines. The thing that makes us all believe that it can be done is comparison with others. Stop doing it! It will take you nowhere!

But don’t get me wrong – I love challenges! They inspires me. Like trying out some model fitness training program, like did with Dan Roberts (trainer for Victoria’s Secret Angels) training schedule. Or the Blogilates challenge – Journey to splits.  But despite truly admire the girl and were performing religiously my stretches every day I did not manage to have my complete split just because I started from proper newbie/beginner level and expected to arrive where others would after years and years of training and practice. (If don’t believe me – check my experience and photo check-in). Just saying that you should never compare someones middle to your beginner and underestimate the work behind it.

Inspiration, Me & My Beau

I know many people who dislikes Mondays but I am not one of them, unless I step on the scales and I do not like what I see – a weight increase..(Why, you cruel world, WHY? ) As on every Monday I have always the weight-in time to check my progress/regress of my workout & dieting program and I must admit that the result on the scales can affect my mood quite a lot ( not for a long, tough, but still enough to make my face frown if negative result).

This morning was not the pleasant one as I did not like what I saw, especially because been busting my butt in a gym in a hard workout sessions and clean eating all last week to catch up with my regress after Japan. Of course I felt robbed and down despite the fact that I know that scales reflects just a number but mirror and your clothes are the real indicator of your progress.
